Cleanup Day This Saturday: Come Join Us & Leave Your Trash Cans by the Road

By  |

The second annual Central Cleanup Day, hosted by Central Leadership for Tomorrow, will be held this Saturday morning, April 27, from 8 to 11AM.  The event is open to everyone in their teens and older who would like to help clean up our city.  Several major roadways will be covered, with volunteers picking up trash along the sides of the roads and in the ditches.  If you are able, please come out for just three hours this Saturday morning to make a big difference in the appearance of Central’s roadways.  Volunteers should meet in the shopping center parking lot at the corner of Hooper and Sullivan.  Arrive a little before 8 so you can get your free t-shirt (limited quantities available) and receive your route assignments.  Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
If you cannot make it out to help pick up trash but you do live on one of Central’s major roadways, please leave your trash can out near the road on Saturday morning so volunteer groups can place one bag of trash in your trash can.  Thank you for helping us keep Central clean!
