In Memoriam: James Thompson

    John 12:26, " If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor."
    James Elmo Thompson, loving husband, father and devoted friend to all, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at his residence in Baton Rouge at the age of 80.
He was retired with the East Baton Rouge Parish School System and the City Parish Library.
    Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, 9995 Hooper Road, Central, LA 70818 on Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 1:00 PM  until the Memorial service at 3:00 PM at the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Glen Miers.
    Survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Jodi and Stephen Miles and Jill and Jerry Bourque; sister, Irma Villar; grandchildren, Braeden and Briley Bourque; niece, Mary Frances Joiner; grand-niece, Mary Catherine Joiner and several other nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Mistoler Thompson; daughter, Julia Sue Thompson; brother, Bobby Thompson. He was a member of Zoar Baptist Church in Central.
