Amite River Preservation Association Gearing Up for Summer

The young people of the Amite River Preservation Association are gearing up to keep our beautiful and historic Amite River clean for the third summer in a row. They will spend EVERY weekend of the summer picking up hundreds of cubic feet of trash, VOLUNTARILY. Please consider donating 30-gallon trash bags, gasoline for their boat, bottled water, or money to help defray their expenses, or lend a hand by picking up trash that you find along the river.
