Wildcat Softball Powers into Playoffs

    Last week's headline read "CHS Softball is Back", and this week we can add "…With a Vengeance".  In a game that Coach Sid Edwards described as "Gorilla Ball", the CHS Softball team knocked three out of the park in one inning, crushing highly ranked Denham Springs 16-5 last Thursday.  The team finished Saturday with a win over West Feliciana in the "Pink Game", raising funds for Cancer research.  Central now stands at #20 in the power rankings and will get word today on its first playoff game.  Coach Sid is confident it will be an away game and it will be either this Saturday, Monday or Tuesday, and that Little Debbie Snack Cakes will again be in the game plan.  Watch CentralSpeaks.com or Central Speaks on Facebook for an announcement by Friday morning of the game date and time.
