Central High (8-0) continued to roll by defeating Baton Rouge High (0-8) for the second time this season in blowout fashion on Wednesday (3-6-13) by a score of 25.5-1.5 and 3095-1950 in Total Pins.  Central won all three games easily by winning Game 1 8-0 (1031-611 Total Pins), Game 2 8-0 (1144-639) and Game 3 6.5-1.5 (920-700).  In Game 1 the Wildcats were led by Jacob Garretson (Sophomore) with a 233.  In Game 2, one of the newest Wildcats led the team.  Johnathan Ryder (Freshman) started with the front 7 (strikes) on his way to a season high 234.  Game 3 saw Bryan Waites (Senior & Captain) lead the way with a 201.  Overall, Garretson led Central in series with a 582, followed by Waites with a 557 and Ryder’s 520 (163 pins over average).
Next up is Denham Springs (6-3), on Monday (3-11-13), who will be trying to pull off the victory to stay in the hunt for the District 5A Championship.  Of course Central hopes to get one step closer to winning their first ever District Title and set up a huge match with Scotlandville (7-2) on Wednesday (3-13-13).  Both matches will be at All Star Lanes at 3:20pm.
