Wildcat Baseball 17-7 Over St. Michael

    The Central Wildcats bats came alive early and often Tuesday afternoon at “The Yard”. The Wildcats would pound out 13 hits to run away with a 17-7 win over St. Michael. Senior shortstop Jared Roberts led the attack going 3-3 with a double and three runs batted in. Seniors Brett Courville, Hunter Edgens, and Travis Stevens each contributed two hits into the attack. Junior Dillon Dantin got the victory in relief throwing three strong innings allowing only three hits and two earned runs. The Wildcats return to action this weekend in the Denham Springs tournament. The Wildcats take on St. Charles Catholic at 4 o’clock Thursday at North Park, St. Michael at 4 o’clock Friday at Walker, and a doubleheader Saturday vs. West Ouachita at 10 o’clock and vs. Woodlawn at 4 o’clock both at Walker.
