Rebels are MAIS Champions

    Congratulations to the CPS Rebels for their MAIS (Mississippi Association of Independent Schools) Basketball Championship victory!  Turn to page 7 for more details on their win last weekend.
2012-2013 Accomplishments:
    Titles:  MAIS 6AA District Champs,  MAIS 6AA District Tourney Champs,  MAIS AA South State Champs (defeating Brookhaven at Brookhaven),  MAIS AA State Runner Up,  and MAIS Overall Champs (defeating all 3 AAA schools in the tournament)
    Noteworthy Extras:  Defeated Jackson Prep twice in one year,  First AA school to win the overall since 1989,  First time in 44 years that a Louisiana team has won the MAIS Overall Championship,  First ever Overall Championship for CPS in basketball
