Central (4-0) made short work of Zachary (0-5) on Wednesday (2-6-13) to remain undefeated and on top of the District 5A.  All three games were dominated by Central and were led by Jacob Garretson’s (Sophomore) 614 series and Bryan Waites’ (Senior & Captain) 541.
Garretson led the Wildcats in Game 1 with a 218 and Bryan Waites (Senior & Captain) rolled a 185.  Central would win the first game 6-2 and 906-813 in Total Pins.  The next two games would go in similar fashion.  Garretson was again high with a 213 in Game 2, leading Central to 7-1 and 898-764 win.  Game 3, Waites led the Wildcats with a 187, followed by Garretson’s 183 and Haley Young’s (Sophomore) 161.  Central would win the final game 5-3 and 937-850.
Overall Central won 21-6 and 2741-2427 Total Pins in match that Central was never really challenged.  Not being challenged will not be an issue on Wednesday (2-20-13) against Scotlandville (3-1) in what might be Central’s most difficult match this season.  Scotlandville has a loaded line-up and will give Central everything they have to get back into the race for the District 5A Title.  The match will be at Metro Bowl at 3:30PM and all Wildcat fans are encouraged to come support your team.  Before that match however, Central will compete at 1:30PM this Saturday (2-9-13) at the LHSAA Coca-Cola Invitational (Metro Bowl), a state-wide competition consisting of over 50 high school teams.
