Local Radio Amor Holding Fundraiser This Week

Radio Amor, WWRA, 91.9 FM is a Christian, Spanish-language broadcaster based in Central, Louisiana.

This is a non-profit radio station, and its mission is reaching the Spanish-speaking population of South East Louisiana with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Radio Amor support is based on the contributions received from the general public, churches, and from Sponsoring Businesses. To this end, we will be having a "Radiothon", or Funding Campaign, during February 13, 14, 15 and 16. The public will be encouraged to call in their pledged contributions during these four days, during the hours of 7 am to 8 pm.

All contributions are tax-deductible.

Businesses can choose to become Sponsors of the radio station, and as such will be recognized at the time of the Radiothon, and during the year, with mentions of their name, address and other pertinent information.

This is a great opportunity for businesses of all kinds to get their name in front of a faithful and responsive  audience that they may be missing altogether for reasons of language.
