CHS Recognizes Top Accelerated Readers

The top 50 Accelerated Readers of Central High School were honored at an Awards Luncheon in the library on January 24. These six students achieved the rank of “Millionaire Reader” as they read 1,000,000 words for two consecutive years: Ashley Alfonso, Jacquelyn Bergeron, Emily Gremillion, Alyxanna Roberts, Hannah Schrieffer, and Diamond Yarbrough.

Kevin Kennedy, a junior, was the semester winner. He read a million words for three consecutive years. Kevin is pictured at his favorite chair in the library. He plans to be a graphic designer
