Two Wildcats Sign On with LSU-Eunice

    Brittany Johnson, Daughter of T.J. and Kristen Johnson of Central, Signed with LSU-Eunice’s softball team on January 18, 2013. Brittany has been a member of the varsity softball team at Central High for four years, and is currently on the LA Lady Katz Tournament team. She received Second Team All District for the last two years playing Center field and second base. Brittany has Maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her high school career. Outside of softball, she has won a state championship in Power Lifting and has been a member of the Track and Athletic training team. Brittany has Plans to study Radiology at LSU-E and then further her Education at a four year university.
    Katie Flowers, daughter of Billy and Shari Flowers of Central, signed with LSU- Eunice January 18, 2013. Her primary position for the CHS softball team is Catcher. Her freshman year she was awarded First Team All District as an outfielder along with the All-Metro Team. Her sophomore year she was awarded Second Team All District along with the "Big Stick" award. Her junior year Katie was awarded First Team All District as a catcher and Second Team All Metro. She was also a two year member of the volleyball team. She currently holds a 3.3 G.P.A. She plans to attend LSU-E to get a degree in the study of Elementary Education.
