Jordan Brooks, Willy the Wildcat from Central High School, is one of more than 50 All Star Mascots from across the country who will perform in the 2013 Capital One Bowl Pre-Game in Orlando, Florida.
The individuals invited to perform are Mascots All-Americans selected from Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) summer camps across the country. All-Americans are selected via tryout based on their overall character development and crowd leading skills. Only the top 12% of the mascots attending UCA camps earn the chance to perform in this year’s Bowl. The All-American program is now in its 26th year.
Mascots will travel along with cheerleading and dance team members to Orlando for a week of rehearsals dedicated to preparing them for their Capital One Bowl pre-game performance. The hours of rehearsals will be well worth the effort when they perform in front of tens of thousands of fans at this major college football event, televised on ABC. While in town, they will also have the chance to visit Central Florida’s famed theme parks.
