The C4 Report From the City of Central Chamber of Commerce

    Last week we held the 26th Annual Christmas in Central Festival and Parade.  There were some changes this year in scheduling and in the parade route.  The Community of Central responded cooperatively and positively to the change and a great weekend was had by all!

    You can not pull off an event like this without the assistance of several people and various organizations.  So this week’s article is a big thank you to these people!  I obviously run the risk of missing some one but several deserve public recognition.  If you are missed, I apologize in advance. So here goes, thanks to:

The City of Central Chamber Christmas Committee and Volunteers for all your hard work to make this event happen – John Green, Don & Barbra Guyon, Kandi Jones, Tim Lazaroe, Ashley Milton, Aaron Moak, Tommie Morden, Dale Perkins, Catherine Shows, Billy Thompson, Ann Watts, and Chamber staff / Darci Perkins and Juanita Ross

City Services – Ray Lewis and Company for helping set up banners, stages, etc./ great banners Jeff and Mary

Tree Ceremony Participants – Central Community Adult Choir, Central Commuinty Theater, CHS Jazz Band, CMS Choir, Central Worship Center, and Mayor Watts for all taking part in the ceremony and DEMCO for the truck to decorate the tree.

Central City Police Dept. and EBR Sheriff’s Office for doing a fantastic job of working with us and keeping everyone safe!
