In developing countries across the world, millions of people suffer from a lack of clean water and sanitation. Disease is extremely prevalent, and death is just as common. Water.org states that “Every 20 seconds, a child dies from a water-related illness.” Such a simple, yet invaluable resource that many of us never even consider the importance of can change the lives of so many people throughout the world.
I am a student at Central High School, and, for my Senior Project, I wanted to do something about this critical issue. Please join me in the parking lot of Zoar Baptist Church on December 1st, immediately following the Central Christmas Parade, for fun and games and to raise money for charity: water. This non-profit organization brings clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Of the donations received, 100% will go directly to the funding of water projects. Thank you in advance for your support.
