Woodrow Muhammad Passes the Comprehensive Planning Examination

    Woodrow Muhammad, Assistant Planning & Zoning Manager for the city of Central, recently passed the Comprehensive Planning Examination. The purpose of the test is to measure a candidate’s level of knowledge compared to the criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), the professional institute of the American Planning Association, for certification. As a certified planner, he has met the minimum competency level for planners and bound by the AICP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. All certified planners must engage in mandatory continuing education to maintain their certification and keep them up to date on current trends and best practices.  It also demonstrates an ongoing commitment to excellence to elected officials, community leaders, and employers.  Congratulations to Woodrow.
