Marlana Shaffer and Pete Firmin to Wed at St. Alphonsus

Marlana Renee’ Shaffer and Pete Joseph Firmin both of Greenwell Springs will marry in a 7:00 p.m. ceremony January 25, at Saint Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Shaffer of Greenwell Springs.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent W. Bellelo of Greenwell Springs and Mrs. Shirley B. Shaffer of Greenwell Springs and the late Jesse H. Shaffer, Jr.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Redemptorist High School and Southeastern Louisiana University. She is employed with Richard T. Akin, D.D.S., M.D., Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Her fiance’ is the son of Mrs. Judy Guarino LoBue of Greenwell Springs and Mr. H. P. Firmin, III of Greenwell Springs.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Van Guarino of Greenwell Springs, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lipinsky of Baton Rouge and Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Firmin, II of Denham Springs.
He is a graduate of Catholic High School and Louisiana State University. He is employed with Firmin Construction Corporation.
