All-Pro Dads Breakfast is a Big Success

We are so happy that dads of Central continue to show support of their children by attending the "All-Pro Dads" breakfast before school at Central Intermediate School. Assistant Principle Jeremy O'Banion has always been a supporter of the program. When asked about the impact of the program, he said, "It allows the school and the community to continue to work together, and encourages the parents and kids to rely on God for their strength."
At each breakfast parents are encouraged to affirm their children in front of others, building their self-esteem. Sometimes we often forget to tell our children that we are proud of them, but at each breakfast the parents do just that. It is always heart warming to see the smiles on the faces of the kids as their dads tell them how proud they are of something specific in their lives.
This month the focus theme was putting a stop to bullying and a challenge was issued to them to watch for it and handle the situation correctly.
