GSBC to Host A Season of Hope Service

A Season of Hope service will be held to honor all babies lost to miscarriage, stillbirth and infant death on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, 19421 Greenwell Springs Road.
Holidays can be difficult for those who have lost a baby. The season of celebration and family gatherings can be especially painful for a family grieving the loss of a child. Often there is little comfort in traditions, family gatherings and seasonal events after a loss.
A Season of Hope service is a special time set aside to celebrate life, no matter how short. It also is an opportunity for those who have had a loss to share with others who are experiencing the same emotions in a safe, caring and uplifting service.
Family, friends and caregivers of all faiths who have shared in the loss of an infant are welcome and encouraged to attend.
A Season of Hope is sponsored by Threads of Love and Angels Among Us. Threads of Love is Christ-centered sewing ministry whose mission is healing and binding hearts of parents in time of uncertainty about their baby’s health or when they lose an infant.
