CHS Student Makes All-State Band

The Louisiana Music Educators Association announced that Michael Robertson from Central high School was selected through an audition for the Louisiana All State Concert Band. This Year’s conductor is Robert W. Smith. The All State Groups will perform at the LMEA Fall Conference held in Baton Rouge at the Crowne Plaza on November 21st. Michael made it through 2 rounds of auditions and out of over 200 trumpet players state wide, Michael was in the top 20! Congratulations to Michael and to the CHS Band program.
