Central Lodge Hosts Veterans Celebration

    Thursday November 12, 2012 Central Lodge #442 F&AM honored Veterans from the Central Area with a Chicken & Sausage Gumbo supper followed by a program honoring all of the men and women who have served our country in war and peacetime. Veterans who served from the Second World War to Afghanistan and from every branch of the service were represented. Mr. Tommy Jarreau, Commander of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Association, Baton Rouge Chapter, gave an interesting talk about the association and their goals. There were about thirty guests and veterans in attendance.
