Last Friday, the Central Community School System received a phone call from the Louisiana Association of School Executives (LASE).  CCSS Superintendent Michael Faulk has been named the 2013 Louisiana Superintendent of the Year.  A committee from LASE selected him as Louisiana's nomination for the National Superintendent of the Year, which will conclude in Los Angeles from February 21-23, 2013 at the AASA (American Association of School Administrators) Conference.
Superintendent Faulk will be recognized between 8:15 and 9 am this Monday, November 12th at the LASE Conference at the Crowne Plaza Conference Hall in Baton Rouge (near College Drive and I-10).
When asked about his award, Faulk said,“I credit my receiving this award first to the good Lord, and second to all of the good people who work with me in the Central Community School System.”  Congratulations, Superintendent Faulk!
