Central Third Graders Receive Dictionaries

The Republican Women of Central distributed dictionaries to 3rd graders in Central Schools. Over 400 books were given to children in Central Intermediate School, Central Private, St. Alphonsus School, and Galilee Baptist School. Each child received a personal copy of the book, which is more than just a dictionary. It contains information on many subjects and includes a copy of the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, braille, sign language,information on all the states and the presidents. A favorite item for the children is the longest word in the English language – which contains 1909 letters!
