Peoples Bank Central Participates in Bowl for the Cure

    The floor was packed this Sunday at All Star Lanes bowling alley as over 60 different businesses and family groups rallied together at the Susan G. Komen “Bowl for the Cure.” At the event was Central’s very own Peoples Bank putting their own spin down the lanes in two highly competitive rounds with their team “The Bowling Bankers.” Raffle tickets and silent auctions took place on the main floor to help raise money for breast cancer research and awareness. Participants also had fun competing in costume contests for the most decked out Pink ensemble.
    The team from Peoples Bank says next year will be even more fun, and local supporters from Central are welcome to join the Bowling Bankers in 2013! So get some practice in and continue to show support until next year’s Bowl for the Cure!
