Students Suggest Uses for Old Central Middle

    Some of the 8th grade students at Central Middle School recently had an assignment on what they think should go at the old middle school site.  Out of 153 students, 90 choose a sports complex.  Here are some of the quotes from the students: 
Destine M. and Cami T. – new high school;  Dylan S. and Cory M. – dirt bike track;  Keith B., Cuera P., and Cassidy C. – more restaurants and stores;  Zakeyah T. – community pool to keep children fit;  Rodolfo – police station, city hall;  Dejanae J. and Brianna D. – teenage hangout to keep kids off drugs and safe;  Brady J., Josh H., Heather Z., Cameron C., and Thomas G. – sports center/complex;  Kara J. – theme park;  Kai-Lee N. – library;  Annie G. – museum;  Rebecca W. – equestrian center;  Katie O. – center for disabled children;  Gustavo C. – hospital
