New Christian & Missionary Alliance Church Coming to Central

    Burning Heart Christian Fellowship is the name of the new church.  The name is inspired by the story of two disciples who didn’t recognize the risen Jesus as they walked with Him to the village of Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35).  While they didn’t recognize Him, the Truth that He shared with them created a burning sensation deep within.  Later, when the disciples realized they had been walking with Jesus, they remarked that they should have recognized him because as he spoke and revealed the Truth of God’s Word their hearts burned within them. James, who is serving as the C&MA church planter, wants to extend an invitation to all to come and be a part of this new fellowship as we seek to grow in our love and knowledge of Jesus Christ.   
    We are starting out meeting in a home for the first phase of Church growth.  The address is 16814 Wax Rd Greenwell Springs, LA 70739*. You can also reach us by phone at (225)803-0351 or by email at [email protected]. *Please note that this address is a residence, and only serves as a meeting location during designated times. Therefore, they cannot accommodate drop-in visits, but welcome calls and emails.  
    Beginning on Sunday, October 21st, and every Sunday thereafter, our services start at 8:30AM with a free hot breakfast and fellowship time.  The Worship Service starts at 9:30AM and last to no later than 11:00AM.  We will also be having an informational meeting at 10:00AM Saturday October 20th.  This will be a great time to learn about our vision, the Christian and Missionary Alliance, and ask questions.  
    The first sermon series at the church will be on prayer. In this sermon series we will study and find keys to unlocking a powerful prayer life.  We believe if you listen and apply this series you will be thrilled with the results.  It will also give you the practical instructions in how to keep growing more and more in the area of prayer.
