Tragedy Averted through Quick Action
Five year old Jaxson Scott and his two year old sister Jaycee were visiting family in Central last week when Jaycee fell into the family pool. As Jaxson explains, "Jayce put her feet in the water and when she did she slipped. And I went to go get her and I take off my shoes and my socks. She was trying to come back up and I went and got her. Babies can't run in the water. I pushed her to the steps." Jaxson added "I took swimming lessons this summer at Crawfish Aquatics". While the parents were very close by, and the children had only been out of their sight for about 30 seconds, the incident reminds us all that accidents can happen quickly and a few swimming lessons and quick actions can often make a difference.
