Central Speaks Publisher Dave Freneaux’s Radio program has a new home.  “Central Speaks Radio Hour” on THE CENTRAL STORY now broadcasts live from Zoe’s Pizza Buffet in Central.  The program can be heard at Zoe’s, or on WPFC-1550AM, Central Now app or on the Net at JonFineProductions.com.  Freneaux’s program airs Wednesdays, 5:30pm—6:30pm.  THE CENTRAL STORY airs weekdays from 5:30pm—6:30pm.
Zoe’s Pizza Buffet now is the host of 2 programs on THE CENTRAL STORY.  The Sid Edwards Show originates from Zoe’s on Thursday afternoon.  Zoe’s owner Blake Andrews, a former Baton Rouge radio talk host, invites fans of Central Speaks Radio Hour (and The Sid Edwards Show) to come out and enjoy the show and his all-you-can-eat buffet.  Zoe’s features a variety of gourmet pizzas, a 20 item salad bar, 2 different types of lasagna and dessert pizza.  One can enjoy the dinner buffet with unlimited drink refills for about $9.
A new As For Me and My House record was set on Monday night as 23 people came to the program and enjoyed Steve Johnson’s show and some great jambalaya from The Jambalaya Shoppe in Central.  The 23 people in the audience were members of Grace Presbyterian Church on 9526 Joor Road in Central.  Pastor Don Hulsey and two of his congregants did a terrific job while appearing on the program. Grace Presbyterian Church’s congregants produced the greatest turn-out in the 4 month+ history of the program and one of the greatest audiences in the history of THE CENTRAL STORY.
Show producer Jon Fine was effusive with praise.  “We have had a nice listener reaction to THE CENTRAL STORY.  Central people have started to tune in each day at 5:30 to our program.  Yet, for whatever the reason, we have had a difficult time getting people out to our programs.—If we are to make it long-term, getting people out to our programs is real important.  Thank you, Pastor Don Hulsey, and Grace Presbyterian Church for taking the time and making the effort to come out to see As For Me and My House.  This helps our program out tremendously.”
Fans/supporters of THE CENTRAL STORY are encouraged to see the program live each day.  In addition to the 3 aforementioned programs, The Central Chamber C-4 Power Hour airs Tuesday nights at Café Delphi Greek & Lebanese Restaurant.  The program is hosted by Matt Price and Ron Erickson.  On Fridays, Kandi Jones’ KandiLand emanates from Romero’s Food Mart (Joor & Lovett location).
