Clarifying Misconceptions as Central City News Closes Office in Central
The questions and phone calls generated by the closing of the Central City News office here in Central have made it clear that a number of people did not know that the two papers, Central Speaks and Central City News, are completely separate businesses. Central Speaks, Central’s weekly newspaper, has offices located at 12023 Sullivan Road, just north of the Sullivan and Hooper intersection, and the offices are open for business every weekday right here in Central. Central City News has reportedly moved and will publish from the Baton Rouge home of its editor and owner, but will no longer maintain an office in the City of Central.
