Oldest Dog in Central?

The Rizzutto family got to recently celebrate the 17th birthday of their beloved beagle, Dan. He was 5 years old when they adopted him from Petsmart in 2000. Since he was 5 and already named, the name Dan stayed. He was named for Old Dan from the book Where the Red Fern Grows. His sister was Lil Ann, and they were hunting beagles. Someone adopted Ann, and Dan was still there for Chad and Jennifer to adopt. He has been the best pet one could ever ask for. The perfect dog for their 3 kids, Braxton, Hayden, and Ella.
