Memorial Day Service Next Thursday

    Patriotism and honor are at the heart of the City of Central citizens. To honor and remember those who have served in the armed forces protecting our nation's freedoms, Central Mayor Mac Watts will host a Memorial Day Service on Thursday evening, May 24, 2012 at 7p.m. at Grace United Pentecostal Church, 12845 Hooper Road across from Central Middle School. 
    Veterans, families and all those who wish to pay tribute to our military service men and women are invited to attend. 
    The Republican Women of Central are supporting this community service event, and will be accepting donations to benefit the Blue Star and Gold Star Moms of Louisiana to provide care packages and necessities to those currently serving overseas.
