CMS Principals Named

    Sandy Davis and Jason Fountain will be teaming up to serve as Interim Associate Principals at the new Central Middle School for the 2012-2013 school year.  The recommendation to the School Board was made by Superintendent Faulk and was unanimously approved by the Board.  Ms. Davis is currently the principal of Tanglewood Elementary and Jason Fountain is at Tanglewood as the Assistant Principal.  Superintendent Faulk also stated that pending meeting specific performance objectives in these interim positions in 2012-2013, Ms. Davis would be recommended as the new Assistant Superintendent of the Central Community School System and Mr. Fountain would be recommended as the permanent Principal of Central Middle School.  Conrgatulations to Ms. Davis and Mr. Fountain.
    Prior to this action by the Board, the Superintendent recommended to the Board that they reverse their previous decision to approve the hiring of Al Chapman as the Middle School Principal.  Information concerning Mr. Chapman's previous employment was brought to the School Board's attention immediately after the decision to offer him the position.  An employment contract was never signed with Mr. Chapman.  The School Board unanimously approved withdrawing the offer of employment to Mr. Chapman.
