Central Private Wins District Championship

    The Central Private Rebels took home the 6AA District Title last weekend when they won a 33-23 game against Bowling Green.  The victory came after an impressive 107-54 win Friday night over Oak Forest.  Simpson Anderson put up 14 points over the Bowling Green Buccaneers.  Piers Carroll and Alex Overs were big contributors with 8 points and 7 points, respectively.  Mitch Van Asten and Lance Wicker also put up points on the Buccaneers.  Alex Overs and Austin Pierce led the team in assists, with Luke Fryoux, Lance Wicker, and Simpson Anderson adding to that list.  
    Central Private is currently 27-5 for the season, but it’s not over yet.  The team plays tonight at 7:45 in Mendenhall, Mississippi.  Should they win that game, they will play Friday night at 6, and if all goes well, they will close out the weekend with a Saturday game at 7:15 PM.  Good luck to the Rebels, and congratulations!
