CENTRAL BOWLING TEAM WINS JAMBOREE
Central High started their season with a convincing victory, a 4-Team Jamboree consisting of Central, Tara, Baker and Runnels this past Thursday (1-19-12). In the opening matches (2 games), Central cruised easily by defeating Tara 16-0, while Baker defeated Runnels in a closer match.
Central was led by Jacob Garretson (Freshman) with games of 248 & 235 for an outstanding 2-game series of 483. Garretson was followed by Bryan Waits (Junior) with a 226 & 203 for a 429 series. In the Jamboree Finals, Central defeated Baker 5-3 to seal the victory.
Central’s 1-2 Punch fell off a bit during the final game with Garretson shooting a 164 to lead the Wildcats and Waits throwing a 159. The rest of the Wildcats stepped up to help the team win the most important stat, Total Pins (819-758).

Central High (0-1) dropped their season opening match against Scotlandville (1-0), 7-20, on Monday (1-23-12) afternoon.
The Wildcats came out bowling strong in the 1st Game shooting a Season-High 956, led by Jacob Garretson (Freshman) with a 216 and Bryan Waits (Junior) with a 213. Scotlandville answered back with an outstanding 996 to take a 5-3 lead.
