3rd Grader Shoots First Buck

DANIEL MACK ROOT, nine years old and a 3rd grader at Victory Academy, killed this 165 pound, nine point buck on Dec. 17, 2011 in Del Rio, TX. He was on a hunting trip with his father, grandfather and cousin when he was able to bag his FIRST buck! He is the son of John and Jennifer Root of Pride and the grandson of Patrick and Brenda Mack of Central. His family is so proud of him, especially his Nana, Aimee Mack Johnson of Central, who submitted this article! What a great buck Buddy!
