Christmas is Coming to Central!

The 25th Christmas Festival and Parade is just a few weeks away.  The Christmas Festival Committee is working hard to make the event special and memorable.  The Christmas Festival & Parade is an important tradition in our community with events for the whole family.  The parade in particular is always a big event, bringing together churches, schools, non-profits, and businesses to create a fun atmoshphere for “kids” of all ages.  There is still time to enter your float in the parade- visit www.CityOfCentralChamber.com and click “Downloads” at the bottom right corner of the page.
 
This year we are adding a Beauty Pageant that will take place on November 19.  There will be several different age levels in which to participate.  Ultimately, we will crown a Miss City of Central!  See page 4 for pageant details.
 
There will still be the Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday evening Dec. 2, the Nativity Scene display, Lighting Displays Contest, the big Parade on Saturday Dec. 3, a Talent Show, Crafts Fair / Business Exhibition, the Carnival that is open Dec. 2-4, Pole Banner Decorations that are on display the whole month of December and our Christmas Chamber Coupon Book.  Many of these events are still open for registration.  Visit www.CityOfCentralChamber.com and click “Downloads” at the bottom right corner of the page for all of the forms and information you will need to sign up.  
 
Another event that we are adding this year is an outdoor concert the night of the tree lighting ceremony.  The event will feature the newly formed Central Community Chorus.  Join in the fun and be a part of the Central Christmas tradition this year.
