Central: There’s an App for That!

    "Central Now", an iPhone and Android APP, was released for free download on Wednesday.  The APP gives you the City of Central at your fingertips.  News, Community Calendar, Entertainment, Business Listings, Restaurant Guide, Real Estate, Videos, and, yes, CHS Football Broadcasts LIVE every Friday night this fall on the iPhone version only.  Go to the App Store on your iPhone or the Android Market and download the App free.  Search for "Central Now" and look for the maroon "C".  The App is in its initial release so your comments and reports of technical difficulties are welcomed at [email protected].

    The App is powered by News, Community Calendar and Videos from CentralSpeaks.com and broadcasts of CHS football and the Sid Edwards Show compliments of Jon Fine Sports Productions and WPFC 1550 AM.  Guaranty Broadcasting's 107.3 FM Talk Radio, with thanks to Central's own Gordy Rush, will be streaming on the Radio feed around the clock except during special programming such as football.  The radio feed is not yet available on Android, but it is being worked on.  Some of the areas of the App, such as real estate and the Entertainment Calendar, are not fully loaded with data, but look for the App to become more complete each day over the next few weeks.  In the meantime, apologies are offered in advance for any software glitches, but they will be solved as they are found.

CHS Football Broadcasts On "Central Now" App

    Listen to CHS Football every Friday night this fall on "Central Now", the iPhone App for the City of Central, compliments of Jon Fine Sports Productions and WPFC 1550 AM.  Tune in Thursdays at 5 PM and hear the Sid Edwards show live as well.  The App is in its first release, and the live broadcasts are not yet available on Android.  Please send any reports of technocal difficulties to [email protected].
