Art League of Central Shares Art with Each Other and the Community
The Art League of Central held its Progressive Dinner Party/Studio Hop Saturday, July 31. 5 members opened their homes and studios to the group, which enjoyed the fun while eating dinner courses at each stop. The Art League is also displaying their "In The Footsteps of the Masters" Show at the Joor Road branch of the public library through August. The closing reception will be held at the library on July 28 at 3:00. They will also be meeting at the Shaw Center on August 14th at 2:00 to see the George Rodrigue retrospective. The public is welcomed to both events. After hanging work at Ochsner Hospital last month, they will have a rotating display at both Central Stat Care and Bone Marketing. Meetings are at 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of each month. Come join us!
