Saturday, June 4th 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Family Fun and Fitness Day is an opportunity for friends and family to come together and enjoy a day of games, grub, and giveaways. It is important to remind the community that pursuing a healthy lifestyle starts in the home. There are great ways to make health and fitness fun and as families, we have the opportunity to keep each other accountable for the things we eat and how active we are. Whether it's a day in the park, a game of soccer, or a fitness class, taking the time to care for our bodies is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves and for our families. So, gather your loved ones and come experience tons of fun at Family Fun and Fitness Day, Helping Families Make Fitness Fun!
At Family Fun and Fitness Day there will be games and activities for all ages, such as relay races, a rock climbing wall, a chance to dunk Central High School's principal and coaches, and many friendly fitness competitions. Admission is free and all attendees will be eligible for many prizes that will be given away at the event such as a John Deer bicycle, beauty products, sports gear, fitness packages and the grand prize of an Xbox 360 & Kinect!! In addition to the fun games, you can also enjoy free food from Caliente Mexican Craving and Subway, as well as free refreshments from Coca Cola, Smoothie King and Menchie's Frozen Yogurt.
