Central Kiwanis Honors Tanglewood’s Terrific Kids

    Last Thursday, the Central Kiwanis paid a visit to Tanglewood Elementary School for their quarterly presentation of Tanglewood’s Terrific Kids.  Each quarter, 12 students are chosen who are Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Friendly, Inquisitive and Capable.  The students get a certificate, a button, and other prizes, along with their photo on the billboard at school.  Thursday marked a special event, as all of this year’s Terrific Kids were assembled for a pizza party to award them for their hard work and exceptional behavior.  Congratulations to these students, pictured above with Kaleigh and Madalyn Winter (volunteers from Live Oak) and Central Kiwanis members June Dupuy (President), Melissa Miley and Karla Feigley.  A special thank you also goes to Tanglewood Principal Sandy Davis.
