Central Dentist Completes Marathon

Jacob Henderson, D.D.S., of Central Dental Care competed in the Rock N Roll Mardi Gras Marathon on February 13th in New Orleans. The race had over 16,000 participants and raised over a half million dollars benefiting the American Cancer Society. Dr. Henderson completed the 26.2 mile race in 5 hours and 9 minutes. His wife, Mimi Henderson, and local dental hygienist Dara Hughes, R.D.H., also of Central Dental Care, both participated in the days events by successfully completing the 13.1 mile half-marathon. All are avid runners and enjoy competing in local races and triathlons. Dr. Henderson is looking forward to his next competition, New Orleans Half Ironman 70.3 in April of 2011.
