Cooking Update: Crawfish, Parking, & Final Meeting

Three IMPORTANT announcements about Cooking in Central:

WHERE TO PARK

This year's event is being held at St. Aphonsus Catholic Church on Greenwell Springs Road.  Next year the event moves to Cooking's permanent site on Blackwater Road where there will be plenty of parking.  This year there will be six parking lots for the event, all located close to St. Alphonsus.  Each lot will have someone directing parking and there will be shuttle busses to take people to the event.  The lots are:

1) Elegant Memories Reception Hall on Frenchtown Road
2) Front Lot at St. Alphonsus School
3) Open Lot (Corner of Frenchtown Road & Greenwell Springs Road)
4) Kristenwood Reception Hall on Greenwell Springs Road
5) Fellowship Baptist Church at 14512 Greenwell Springs Road
6) Handicap Parking available behind St. Alphonsus Church and at Fellowship Baptist Church
    Shuttle buses, including handicap, will run between all parking lots and the event entrance on a regular basis.  The event can only be entered from Frenchtown Road.

BUY YOUR CRAWFISH TICKETS EARLY

5,000 pounds of Crawfish donated by Carlton LeGrange and Gil Matherne will be boiled and enjoyed the Friday evening of Cooking.  Buy your tickets now at any school office , the Chamber of Commerce or Ross Tire.  There may be tickets available Friday night, but they may sell out before then.  Buy your tickets early!

FINAL MEETING

The final organizational meeting for Cooking will be held Tuesday, March 29th at 6 PM at Elegant Memories on Frenchtown Road.  Come out and help wrap up the final details for another great Central event.
