Central High School Soccer Players Honored

    This year the Central High Boys Soccer team had three players chosen for the All-District team.  Junior Dylan Manzella made the 1st team while seniors AJ Smith and Taylor Jernigan made the 2nd team. Dylan was also named the districts Overall MVP and later was selected to the All-Metro Team. The All-Metro Team is chosen by the coaches from over 25 teams in the area. This year there were 17 players chosen for the team.  Manzella received the fourth highest amount of votes. This is the first time that a Central player has been chosen for these two awards. These young men worked hard for these honors and I cannot say enough for what they have done for soccer at Central High School. This was a great year for all involved and these young men continue to work and improve. A great senior class will be moving on this year and I want to wish them the best and thank them all for what they gave to the program.
