Lady Wildcats Play in St. Amant Tournament

This past Sunday, March 6th, the Central High softball team travelled to the St. Amant tournament at Butch Gore Park. The Wildcats lost to Slidell by a score of 3-0. Kayla Temple was 1-2 at the plate, hitting a triple. Kaylan Hunt was 1-2 with a double. Heather Bozeman pitched 5 innings, allowing 1 earned run, 4 hits, 2 strikeouts, and 2 walks.
Central lost out to St. Amant as well, 8-0. Brittany Johnson went 2-2, and Ashley Dileo 1-1.
The Lady Wildcats' current record is 2-2, District 5-5A: 1-0. They play Denham Springs this Thursday, March 10th at North Park at 4:30. They will play again in a St. Amant Tournament on Friday and Saturday, March 11-12 at Butch Gore Park.
