Comite River Flood Warning

Comite River Flood Warning. The Comite River near Joor Rd is expected to crest at 24 feet around 11pm on Wednesday, March 9. Flood stage is 20 feet. Minor flooding in low lying areas along the Comite River and its tributaries can be expected. Residents in those areas should take caution. The river is expected to drop below flood stage around noon on Thursday. Minor backwater flooding could also be expected along Beaver Bayou near the Comite River.
