New Building Permits for February

            Building permits continued at a brisk pace in February in the city of Central. A total of 14 new residential permits were issued.  The total valuation of these permits was $3,029,818. 

            Within these permits, five were issued in Morgan Springs with an average building valuation of $180,186; one in Village Lakes with a valuation of $265,762; one in the Gates at Burlington valued at $187,124; two in Woodstock valued at $246,287; and three in Burlington Lakes with an average valuation of $192,071.  There were two permits issued on private parcels of land around the city with an average valuation of $303,605.

            A total of 31 new residential building permits were issued in January and February of 2011 compared to 18 permits in the same period last year.
