Central High Bowling on a Roll

The boys bowling team defeated Albany last Tuesday afternoon 16.5-10.5. The girls bowling team defeated Holden last Wednesday, 18-9. Kay Rawls bowled games of 227, 186, and 238 for a district season high series of 651. On Thursday, the girls bowling team scored a win over Broadmoor High School. Kay Rawls bowled a 662 series, breaking the Baton Rouge area season high that she had set the day before. Her series was highlighted a 289 which is the new Louisiana varsity girls record for a single game. In order to bowl a 289, a bowler must get 10 strikes in a row.
