CCSS Facilities & Equipment Meeting Tonight- Read Agenda Here

    The CCSS Facilities & Equipment Committee will meet tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the Central High School Theatre.  The meeting is open to the public.  Agenda items are as follows:

1) To consider and take appropriate action relative to architect recommendations on Phase 2 of the Renovation Projects for Central High School, Tanglewood Elementary and Bellingrath Hills Elementary.  (Requested by Mike Faulk, presented by representatives from Coleman Partners and Grace & Hebert)

2) To consider and grant approval of Change Order No. 3 to the Earthwork Contract for the New Intermediate School and New Middle School in the amount of $39,315.00 for installation of barricade fencing around the perimeters of wetland areas and for additional costs associated with additional earthen excavation and resultant fill material required due to additional striping of unsuitable soils.  (Requested by Mr. Bogan, presented by Mr. Bogan)

3) To consider and grant approval of Change Order No. 3 for the Building Contract for the New Intermediate School and the New Middle School and the New Middle School in the credit amount of $747,222.00 for deleting the contingency and DDC controls allowances.  (Requested by Mr. Bogan, presented by Mr. Bogan)

4) To consider and grant approval of Change Order No. 1 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate School and the New Middle School in the credit amount of $200,778.85 for revising the site electrical utility service and revising the stand-by emergency generator size to 600kW from 750kW.  (Requested by Mr. Bogan, presented by Mr. Bogan)

5) To consider and grant approval of Change Order No. 2 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate School and New Middle School in the amount of $8,137.28 for lime stabilization of the subgrade material at the alternate classrooms.  (Requested by Mr. Bogan, presented by Mr. Bogan)

6) To consider and grant staff the authority to approve certain change orders for new construction projects.  (Requested by Mr. Bogan, presented by Mr. Bogan)

7) To receive a report on the status of the contract for New Middle School and New Intermediate School and Stadium Restroom Renovations.  (Requested by Mr. Bogan, presented by Mr. Bogan)
