School System Gets Clean Annual Audit Report

    Each year the Central Community School System undergoes an audit of its finances.  The June 30, 2010 fiscal year audit was done by the CPA firm of Hannis T. Bourgeois.  This year's audit report was another affirmation that the accounting practices in place at the Central Community School System are solid and that the control of the taxpayers' money, from an accounting perspective, is professional and by the book. Mr. Brian Kidwell, Director of Finance for the School System, and his staff, are to be congratulated for the job they do.  The entire 114 page audit report can be viewed on the Louisiana Legislative Auditor's website.  This audit is not related to the Legislative Auditor's investigation and report concerning technology purchases which was issued earlier in 2010.
