Mark Klein Honored in Voices of Democracy Competition

Mark Klein was honored this past weekend at the Statewide VFW convention in Alexandria. He was one of 10 students who received awards for essay submissions in the Voices of Democracy Competition, which gives scholarships to students for their outstanding essay entries. Participants must write then record broadcast versions of their patriotic essays. Mark won 6th place out of around 500 high school students who submitted essays from around the state. He was highlighted on KALB TV NEWS Channel for his achievement. Congratulations, Mark!
