Food and Fundraising at CCA Taste Fair

    On Tuesday evening, the Central Community Alliance held its 3rd Annual Holiday Taste Fair at DEMCO.  Central High students Taryn Dixon, Wyatt Causey, Jacob Hector, and Morgan Duchamp cooked for the whole group of Central community members.  The menu included cream of broccoli soup, clam chowder, pasta salad, and pistachio cake.  The students also demonstrated and discussed their cooking methods with the audience.  The students have been learning techniques from their Family & Consumer Sciences teacher, Mrs. Dawn Conrad.  Donations were accepted at the event as a fundraiser for a scholarship.  Sponsors for the evening included GM Cable, Shop in Central, and Pit Stop Tire & Car Care.  Thank you to everyone who contributed to a wonderful evening.
